The theme for our ‪‎travel pics this week is P for Pacific Islands.

For Wednesday, we travel to Espiritu Santo, in Vanuatu.

We were near a village called ‘Hog Harbour’ on the island when we took this picture of our ship, the Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas, as it lay at anchor in Champagne Bay.

Now the funny thing is, you won’t find ‘Champagne Bay’ on any maps (apart from the cruise-line ones)

The closest you will find is ‘Champagne Beach’ … but Champagne Bay sounds so much better than Hog Harbour 🙂

The destination is only a temporary stop for the cruise ships .. the wharf at Luganville, to the south, is under repair.
