The theme for our ‪‎travel pics this week (and a bit) is I, for Italy.

They say that there are only two things in life that are guaranteed: death, and taxes.

But to that, I would add ‘traffic jams’.

Even (or perhaps especially) on the water, when you get differing transport options sharing the same bit of H20

I shouldn’t have found this so amusing – but I did 🙂

We were just out for a stroll on our first afternoon in Venice, when bingo: a canal-crash nearly happened before our very eyes.

Imagine what it must have been like when Venice had 10-THOUSAND gondolas, in the 1800s!
