The theme letter for our travel pics this week is S, for Singapore.
For Saturday, we are on board a bumboat, near Clarke Quay.
Bumboats are small, ferry-like vessels which are a tourist attraction in Singapore.. the name comes from the Dutch boomschuit, or tree boat.
Originally boats that ferried people and supplies to and from ships moored away from the shore, in Singapore they are sort of water taxi.. but are used almost exclusively by tourists.
