The theme for our travel pics this week has been L for London – and we’ll wrap up with a picture that evokes images of OIiver, and Notting Hill, and other London-based movies.
This is a street in Bayswater – these days a smart, cosmopolitan suburb of parks and Victorian era stucco terraces – but originally, a watering hole for cattle near the abbey of Westminster.
In the centre of this image is the Hotel Umi – a nice little boutique hotel we stayed at for a few days. It was certainly central to everything.
