The theme for our ‪‎travel pics this week is P for Pacific Islands.

To start the week off, an island we’ve only been to once – but which we fell in love with, instantly … the Isle of Pines, in New Caledonia.

This island is just plain gorgeous, with excellent snorkelling, and swimming, and breathtaking views, like this.

Even when a cruise ship is in (and we were on the Carnival Spirit for this visit), there’s plenty of solitude to be found.
