The theme for our ‪‎travel pics this week is D for Disneyland.

Today, it’s an Iron Man suit, from the latest series of Marvel Avengers movies.

As a youngster, I always wanted to go to Disneyland – and especially to Tomorrowland.

So, when we got the chance to go there, as adults, I was in like Flynn – and the Tomorrowland exhibit was my first point of call. There, we saw Asimo, the Japanese robot, and a series of Iron Man suits, like this one.

Many of the iconic rides and exhibits of Tomorrowland are no more – it’s been extensively redesigned twice since its initial opening – and even then, it was always the ‘poor relation’.

But it drew me from halfway across the world, so …
