The theme letter for our travel pics this week is W, for Worldmark.
For Wednesday, it’s a Worldmark South Pacific resort – Treetops, at Coffs Harbour.
Treetops is one of two resorts in the quiet seaside holiday, about 400km south of Brisbane, and about 530km north of Sydney.
The other resort is the older “Terraces’ … both are within the Pacific Bay Resort precinct (a Novotel resort, which leads to the unusual situation of having Accor Vacation Club and Worldmark in the same area of the Terraces)
But Treetops is a separate and distinct purpose-built development, nestled in beautiful Australian bushland. We were woken by a morning chorus of birds, and as I went for my morning constitutional, I was joined by a bush-turkey who trotted around me, seeing what I was doing in his domain 🙂
Apparently, Worldmark owners staying at either Treetops or Terraces can use all the resort facilities like the pools, golf course, tennis courts etc .. but that was all a bit energetic for us 🙂
I would imagine that Terraces, being a bit closer to the beach, might be better suited to families with young kids – but for an early-50s couple looking for a mid-week getaway, we loved Treetops.
