The theme letter for our travel pics this week is X (Marks the spot).
For Tuesday, it is eXotic Hong Kong.
We’ve only been to Hong Kong once – on our way to Europe, to catch up with our son in the UK … but I have to say, I’d love to return.
This particular scene is in Kowloon, just before lunchtime on a fairly quiet weekday .. we were wandering around Tsim Sha Sui (our hotel was about three blocks away) when we came across Humphries Avenue.
We decided to grab some Yum Cha at a random restaurant down this street – upstairs in the Humphries Building from memory.
I don’t remember its name – but seven years later, I still remember how good the Sichuan style eggplant hotpot was 🙂
That’s one of the things I love about travelling – discovering gems like this at random. And them moving on, and discovering other gems.
This street in Hongkong has so many gems. I miss this one! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
